Mary Taylor, La Mancha 2021
Origin: La Mancha, Spain Grape: 100% Macabeo Wine Style: Still/Dry/White Wine Farming: Sustainable Flavor Profile: Dry and full bodied with low acidity, this is a plump but soft wine with lovely flavors of peach, nectarine, custard apple, Asian pear, and a hint of blossom and fresh herbs. Mary Taylor, Agenais Rose 2021 Origin: Southwest, France Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc Wine Style: Still/Dry/Rosé Farming: Biodynamic Flavor Profile: A dry and surprisingly complex rosé, with aromas and flavors of tart cherry, raspberry, & citrus zest (lime) Mary Taylor, Bordeaux Rouge - 2018 Origin: Bordeaux, France Grapes: 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Style: Still/Dry/Red Farming: Sustainable Flavor Profile: it possesses much of the dark-fruited complexity that made Bordeaux famous in the first place but rendered in a brighter, more refreshing frame. This wonderful “drinkability” is highlighted by the absence of oak during the aging process, which allows a bursting acidity and graphite minerality (imagine the lead of fresh pencil shavings) to shine through on the palate. FUSO, Col di Luna 'FLORA' Prosecco NV Origin: Veneto, Italy Grapes: Glera Wine Style: Sparkling/ Dry Farming: Organic Flavor Profile: If the wine is made ‘Brut,’ as Flora is, you get a dry wine (less than 2gr/l) with notes of green apple, asian pear, and fresh cut flowers. Mary Taylor, Touraine 2021 Origin: Loire, France Grapes: Sauvignon Blancv Wine Style: Still/Dry/White Farming: Sustainable Flavor Profile: Approachable and soft around the edges but driven by a core of bright acidity and concentrated fruit. Passy Le Clou - Petit Chablis - 2020 Origin: Burgundy, France Grapes: Chardonnay Wine Style: Still/Dry/White Farming: Sustainable Flavor Profile: This Chablis expresses a both fresh and fruity nose; we can scent the silex, citrus fruits but also fresh fruit notes like pear. On the palate, these aromas keep their freshness with a lasting floral dominancy. Dry, with a perfect delicacy, it owns a unique, yet very recognizable personality. Mary Taylor, Coteaux de Giennois Rouge 2019 Origin: Loire, France Grape: Pinot Noir/Gamay Wine Style: Still/Dry/Red Farming: Organic Flavor Profile: Pours a red garnet color. Ripe floral and red berry fruits on the nose reminiscent of the Gamay within the blend. A dry palate with a touch of spice and earth brings forward the personality of the Pinot Noir. Mary Taylor, Douro 2019 Origin: Douro, Portugal Grape: 60% Touriga Nacional, 25% Tinta Roriz , 15% Touriga France Wine Style: Still/Dry/Red Farming: Organic Flavor Profile: This blend brings together the aromatic intensity of Touriga Nacional, sophisticated delicacy of Tinta Roriz (better known in Spain as Tempranillo), and the structure and elegance of Touriga Franca. Fresh red fruits on the nose persist through the palate, announcing a young, energetic wine with swirling, well-integrated tannins and a lovely, long finish. |
